Rules for Payment of Club Bill

  1. All outstanding bills must be settled in full between the 10th and 30th of each month.
  2. If a member fails to settle his bills, and his dues to the Club exceeds “the total amount due for four months subscription fees”, the member will be reminded through a “Warning Notice” on the Club Notice Board that the particular member will be considered  a  defaulter, and  his name  will  be put on  the  defaulters’  list    if  he fails  to settle his dues within  one  month  of  this “Warning Notice”. At the same time use of the bar and other services of the Club will be temporarily suspended.
  3. If the particular member already notified through the “Warning Notice” fails to settle his bills within the specified period, the member’s name will be displayed on the Club’s Notice Board as a defaulter and notices will be sent to each defaulter.
  4. If within  one  month  from  such  posting,  all  such  sums  due  are  not  paid,  the Committee shall, in the absence of any reasonable explanation by the defaulting member, removed his name from the list of members.
  5. Any member wishing to avoid getting into debt or becoming a defaulter can make advance payments to the Club at any time.
  6. In the case where the defaulter fails to pay the debt, his three guarantors will be liable to pay the outstanding debt, in equal portions. (ie. One third  each)
  7. In case any of the guarantors themselves being defaulters or are no longer members of the Club, the remaining guarantors must settle the debt.
  8. Members who are absent from Yangon area for more than six calendar months must notify the Club and settle all his bills in advance before applying to be a   district member.
  9. Members who are leaving the country should notify the Club and settle all outstanding bills, prior departure.
  10. Receipts will be issued immediately for any payment made to the Club. Please ask for the receipts for your payments.
  11. If there is any error in your bill kindly make a complaint personally or by telephone or by mail to the Honorary Treasurer or to the Manager at the earliest   opportunity.
  12. The above rules will be effective from July, 2011.
